Artwork in Target stores 2025-present;

made between Fall 2023-now

In mid to late 2023, the biggest changes YET began to take place at the ‘Bullseye’. Lots of longtime colleagues were out, and in their place were new figures. New leadership meant new directions, and that meant - surprise - more work. Which required even more help.

In 2024, Jeff Bagwell, who has owned print & pattern creation for Hearth & Hand and LTOs for the last ten years, joins my team for additional support. Abby Lam also joined the team, having previously worked in various product home and apparel categories as well as bringing special expertise from years working on the Brand Vision team. And in spring of 2025, Kate Worum makes a triumphant return to the team after years away making mega waves in the hand-painted wallpaper world.

When it comes to my work, I was given the honor of creating the premier print & pattern collection for Casaluna, Target’s luxury bedding brand. Launched in early 2025, the artwork covers duvets, shower curtains, and toss pillows in dreamy, layered florals and contemporary watercolor textures.

In addition to Casaluna, I continue to support the Studio McGee partnership as well as Threshold and, at times, Room Essentials. So, I am sure you are wondering...

What’s on the horizon for Nick, and for his work at Target? What’s coming next?

I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out!
