Bunnies truly do find ways of multiplying quickly.

Especially when those bunnies are illustrations and you work for home decor at Target. In this case, you can expect to see bunnies year after year, for at least a month at a time, and always with eggs and carrots in tow.

I am talking about, of course, the joyous Christian holiday of Easter. I have created artwork for this seasonal moment every year that I have been a print and pattern artist, and despite what some might think, it hasn’t grown old to me. I like returning to these moments perennially. Granted, I wouldn’t want to draw bunnies and eggs all year long - everything in moderation, please. But I do like revisiting these familiar faces and getting reacquainted as if we are old friends.
