Opalhouse was - as the kids would say - everythingggg. It was eclectic, collected, vintage, luxe, modern. It was a brand to address a variety of guests, from first apartment millennials to global travelers to midwestern families. And it really did look fabulous and did not cost appendages.

The Kates and I worked closely with the trend team to create the concepts for the launch of opalhouse, and we shot for the stars. K WO, K Lo and I traveled to france, portugal & MaLLorca for inspiration in april 2017 and upon our return, unleashed a flurry of artwork over the next week or so. The trend team simultaneously sifted through fabrics, inspiration imagery and product samples to begin the assembly of the trends for this fledgling brand. In the end, our work amounted in a whopping 9 trend stories. And. it. was. glorioussssss!!!

Certainly, things were narrowed - greatly - before product reached the stores, but what did make it to the shelves flew off of them quick!
