At some point. somewhere. Sometime in your life. whoever you are. whatever you do.

He he, ok ok - so I’m not talking ‘Total and complete Domination’ kind of submission, but the submission of applications and entries to competitions, grants, awards, etc. At some point we all have to do it.

For me, submissions have been mostly womp womp kinds of situations. I have applied to countless art shows and competitions over the last 25+ years, and the vast majority resulted in nothing more than an updated resume, a tighter portfolio and further experience in writing. As you’ve seen on this site, however, that is not always the case, and every now and then an opportunity comes along that makes ALL of it - ALL of it - worthwhile.
