“Tabletop” encompasses a lot of different product categories, and print and pattern is important to many key statements in the kitchen. I mean, who doesn’t love an apron with an allover lemon print? This is truly a print and pattern designer’s moment to shine.

As with a lot of my work at Target, creating for tabletop is very much a collaborative endeavor. Since product in this space comes in many unique shapes - round plates, circular mugs, folded dish towels - it is necessary to work alongside the designers to ensure that their specific product needs are being met.

Always a lot of work, but the results are priceless. Err, well... in this case actually all of it has a price but that sounded pretty slick, right?
